Tex Mix started with a neighbor who shared a recipe. It got adjusted, tested, and adjusted again, picking up ideas from friends' kitchens along the way, until it became Tex Mix.

Now it’s made in small batches in Central Texas.

What exactly is Swicy Party Mix?
Four kinds of crunch covered in honey, butter, seasoning and Texas peppers for heat. Technically, it’s a party mix. But we call it crunchy, bold, and absolutely shareable.
How hot is it?
Warm enough to notice. Not hot enough to ruin your afternoon. Tex Mix starts sweet, warms up slowly, and ends with the kind of buttery crunch that creates very optimistic ideas about portion control. It is not trying to melt your face.
What does “swicy” mean?
Swicy is sweet and spicy in the same bite. It’s the flavor trend behind everything from hot honey to spicy margaritas. Just like the word suggests, it blends sweet and spicy into one flavor profile: sugar softens the chili burn, and the heat keeps the sweetness from going flat. In Tex Mix, that’s honey up front and Texas peppers right behind it.
How is this different from a regular party mix?
Most party mixes lean on salt and call it a day. Tex Mix gives you sweet honey, Texas peppers and butter instead, so every handful hits sweet, hot and rich instead of just salty.
Whose recipe is this, really?
It started with a neighbor. It’s been adjusted, tested, and adjusted again ever since, until it became its own thing. Same spirit as where it started, not the same recipe anymore, and full credit to her for that.
Are the bags exactly 7.5 oz?
At least. We hand-pack every bag, and hitting an exact decimal every time isn’t worth the stress. We treat 7.5 oz as the minimum and overfill from there, you get a little extra, we keep our sanity.
Any allergens?
Yes. Tex Mix contains wheat, soy, fish (anchovies from the Worcestershire sauce), and tree nuts (almond, from natural almond flavor). It is not vegetarian or vegan.
Where can I find it in stores?
Online only for now. We’re working on stores, we’ll let you know the second that changes.
How should I store it?
Sealed bag, room temperature, best within 2–4 weeks of the production date on the bag. If it’s still around by then, something’s wrong.
